Custom Metal Patterns

Art Specifications (Requirements)

• Electronic Files (E-mail)
  • We prefer Adobe® Illustrator® (vectored or line art) files. (The exception to this would be for a black and white photograph. In this case we prefer PhotoShop® (rasterized or pixelized art) files at 600 dpi resolution
  • Mac files should not be compressed.
• A clean fax
• Camera–ready slick
• Black is Light: As you look at your artwork try to imagine the black portions of your image as the light areas
• Artwork Size: If your art is not camera–ready, send your image as large as possible but not larger than 8.5” x 11”
• Image Area: Remember the smaller the gobo, the more the image must be reduced

Files with the following extensions: .gif; .tif; .doc; .bmp; .jpeg; and PhotoShop® .eps are rasterized or pixelized files. These need to be redrawn to become line art, therefore they will be charged as “faxed art.”

Glass patterns are available in standard resolution with 3600 dpi (dots per inch) resolution. All glass patterns feature an amazing 20,000 dots per inch. Images with gray scales or photos look best using the SuperResolution process.
