The SS-8RC magnetically charges via the wall-mountable base plate. The base plate features ethernet ports to connect to the Master Control Station and to expand to other Satellite Stations.
Satellite Stations don’t save or send any DMX data but merely communicate with a Master Station, which sends the DMX data to your lights. The SS-8RC features eight buttons that let you select any of your eight preprogrammed scenes. The SS-8RC base plate connects and is powered by the Master Station via an easy-to-run Cat5 cable. No additional cable or programming is required. The SS-8RC can work with a Master Wall Station or Desk Station.
Pairing A New Remote: There is a pairing button on the back of the base plate. Press the pair button three times to disconnect from the current remote. You can then pair a new remote by magnetically attaching it to the base plate.
What’s It Good For?
We like to say that DMX Control Stations are the easiest way to control your lights for everyday use. Well, a Remote Satellite Station increases the flexibility of that control. DMX Control Stations are the best way to control DMX House Lighting. They are also an incredible option for any mixed-use space, like a church, school, or theatre, to easily switch between lighting scenes from the comfort of the audience or backstage.
