Why Choose a Springtree Ellipsoidal?
We set out to design a fixture that works reliably in the background, allowing you to focus on your work—an affordable ellipsoidal option for churches, schools, and theaters. The HD202WW delivers a natural, warm white output that feels great and can be precisely framed and shaped to direct focus. While its optics may not rival those of $1,400+ models, your wallet will undoubtedly appreciate the savings.

Chris Gill –
Best ellipsoidal for the price! I bought two of these to replace some old ETC Source 4 Ellipsoidals in our church that had died. The optics are not quite as good as those old fixtures, but these are much brighter and way cheaper than the lower end ADJ and Chauvet DJ ellipsoidals.
The ONLY reason these didn’t get 5 stars are the framing shutters. At lest one of the blades on each fixture won’t hold their position. It’s like the fitting isn’t quite the right size and is too loose.
Other than the framing shutters (which we’ve found a workaround for) this is a great light. We plan on buying several more of these to use on our main stage!

You can’t beat the price! The optics aren’t as good as Chauvet’s Ovation series, but I wouldn’t expect them to be. I haven’t used them with gobos, but they are a great, frameable front wash!
