The End of an Era

This change truly marks the end of an era for Springtree. In our early days, DJ lighting was a major part of our business, and we sold equipment to DJs of every kind.

That chapter also came with a few memorable side effects. Back then, our owner forwarded after-hours business calls directly to his cell phone so he could respond if a customer had an emergency. 

There were nights when the phone would ring at three in the morning, only for our owner to discover that the “emergency” was an aspiring DJ who had just returned home from a show and suddenly realized that DJing was their true calling. They were inspired, motivated, and apparently ready to start shopping immediately.

In fairness, our owner chose to forward the calls. He also chose to answer them. We can therefore confirm that this particular problem was largely self-inflicted.

While we do not miss the middle-of-the-night calls, we are incredibly thankful for the DJs who supported us during those early years—especially those who still shop with us today. We appreciate your loyalty, and we remain committed to serving you. No order is too small to matter, and we will always go the extra mile to help you find what you need.
