Franklin Christmas Tree Lighting 2017

Every year Franklin kicks off the start of the Holiday Season with the lighting of the Christmas tree. A 40 foot artificial tree, that takes city employees four days to assemble!

8,000 to 10,000 people attended the event, which is more then double the year before! There were cookies, Santa, characters, apple cider, the magic of snow machines, a children’s choir, a performance by Christian music artist Matthew West, and lots of good cheer! Our favorite part is always the children’s choir.

Brandon Vaque reluctantly grew up around AV, being dragged as a teenager to work at his parents AV house to build a "good work ethic." After college, he did what he swore he would never do, and started working at the family business. He helped launch the Springtree LED brand, with his passion being to simplify the AV process.
