We Knew Them When…
It’s always a good feeling when you see your friends achieve great things. That’s how we feel toward our pals at Chauvet.
Chauvet in 2001
Our relationship with Chauvet goes way back to around 2001 when this now giant in the industry was still fairly young. Before it had expanded from its roots to the professional market, Springtree recognized talent and partnered with the company distributing quality DJ equipment. At the time, the fledgling company hadn’t even begun its foray into LED products and it had only a rudimentary web presence.
Our Partnership with Chauvet
Seeing an opportunity to help a like-minded company, Springtree reached out. We happened to have access to a warehouse close to our Franklin offices and offered to start filming product and training videos. This was before product videos were even really a thing. Chauvet agreed and began sending palates of their DJ lighting products over. We made their videos and in return Chauvet allowed us to keep the product to sell. If you happened to purchase the early version of their Show Express product, you’ve likely heard our president’s (Peter) voice. We have been proud to feature the Chauvet product line over the years even garnering a Dealer of the Year award in 2003.
Since then, Springtree has been pleased to see Chauvet evolve and expand to the global powerhouse it is today becoming a leading developer of luminaires, trussing, controllers, atmospherics and related equipment. They are most noted for their pioneering work in developing affordable LED color fixing features. Their brand has expanded from Chauvet DJ to include their sister brands, Chauvet Professional, Illuminarc and Truss. Through the years they have maintained their dedication to bringing innovative, high performance products to a rapidly expanding market. We were very happy when they purchased ChamSys, a line of lighting controllers we are big fans of.
Our rental department continues the legacy of their great relationship relying on the Chauvet brand in their own rental division utilizing their Rogue LED spots among their other outstanding lights. They are fantastic and versatile, great in a multitude of venues such as schools, churches, theaters and more. Their DJ products remain among the best on the market providing, as always, an exceptional and dynamic experience.
We are extremely proud of our partnership with Chauvet and constantly look forward to the next amazing product they come out with.
